KoreaMed Synapse is digital archive and reference-linking
platform of Korean medical journals and it is constructed in English for
international dissemination and use.
It was initiated by Committee for Information Management of KAMJE (Korean
Association of Medical Journal Editors) in July, 2006. It has provided
service since November, 2007.
KoreaMed Synapse is following PubMed Central (PMC) Journal Publishing
DTD standard to provide full-text service. If a journal is in Korean,
citation, abstract, tables, figures and references are provided in English.
Since KoreaMed Synapse adopts reference linking system using DOI®,
by clicking on a reference citation, it is linked to another journals's
full-text page, and it also functions as response page from other journals'
reference-linking platform.
